Guide for Authors

Publication conditions:

  • The journal receives original research that has not been published or submitted for publication before. The researcher submitting the research paper is responsible for ensuring approval for the publication of the research by all other researchers, if any. It is also the responsibility of researchers to ensure that the institution approves research issued by that institution or entity.
  •
  • The journal also welcomes the publication of translations, summaries of university dissertations approved by the faculty or corresponding faculties, reports of conferences, symposia, and seminars, and presentations of newly published books in the fields of social sciences and humanities. It also publishes the annual report on the college’s achievements and its activities at the research and societal levels.
  • The researcher submits an electronic copy of the research as a single Word file via email to the journal.
  •
  • Please note that individual form files larger than 10 MB must be uploaded separately.
  • Tables and figures with captions must be submitted within the main text of the manuscript in a single Microsoft Word file. Please ensure that the figures and tables in the individual file are placed next to the relevant text in the manuscript, and not at the bottom or above the file.

The language of publishing:

The journal welcomes the publication of scientific research and studies that are characterized by originality and novelty, in either Arabic or English, provided that two abstracts are attached to the scientific research and studies, one in Arabic and the other in English. Researchers who feel that their English manuscript requires linguistic proofreading to remove grammatical errors or Possible spelling of using any English language editing service.

Arbitration:

All research is subject to arbitration, as the editorial board conducts an initial reading of the scientific research submitted for publication in the journal to ensure the availability of the elements of scientific research, and is then sent to the arbitrators, considering the following:

  •  The editorial board chooses two people from a different scientific body who are entrusted with the task of reviewing, if they are specialists in the field of research, preferably with the rank of professor or assistant professor.
  •  The scientific work is sent to the arbitrators confidentially, without mentioning the name of the researcher or anything indicating his personality. An evaluation form containing a list of criteria against which the scientific work is evaluated is attached to the scientific work to be reviewed.
  •  Members of the editorial board are responsible for following up on amendment procedures and verifying that the required amendments have been met before publishing the scientific work.
  •  All researchers are informed of the decision whether their research is suitable for publication or not.
  •  The scientific work will be published if it passes peer review in accordance with the accepted scientific controls and fulfils the rules and conditions of publication in the journal. He apologizes for publishing it if this is not achieved.
  •  Approval from two members of the editorial board is sufficient to publish book reviews, university theses, and reports of scientific meetings.
