This study seeks to identify the framing approaches used by online newspapers in addressing domestic violence issues and their relationship with young people’s attitudes toward the image of the Egyptian family. It also explores the functional role of online newspapers in confronting domestic violence issues and how this influences young people’s perspectives on the Egyptian family. The study relies on Framing Analysis Theory and Media System Dependency Theory. The researcher uses the survey method in both its field and analytical forms. The analytical sample includes coverage of domestic violence issues in the online newspapers Al-Ahram, Youm7, and Al-Wafd, covering the period from June 2023 to October 2024. The sample consists of 145 articles, distributed as follows: Al-Ahram (40 articles), Youm7 (85 articles), and Al-Wafd (40 articles). The field sample consists of 400 young Egyptians who follow domestic

violence issues through online newspapers, using both a content analysis form and a questionnaire.
