Digital platforms address women's empowerment issues and their relationship to the level of Contact presence of its users

Abstract

The problem of the study is that some women face difficulty accessing technology and the internet itself, which affects their ability to benefit from digital platforms and also women may be exposed to digital discrimination, which includes discrimination or violence they are exposed to online because of their gender and this can restrict their participation and effective presence on digital platforms, and some women may also face digital harassment on digital platforms, which affects their ability to participate and interact freely. The study population consists of women working in the public and private sectors in Beni - Suef Governorate who use digital platforms, and this research is relatively limited in identifying the digital platforms' treatment of women's empowerment issues and its relationship to the level of their communicative presence and providing equal opportunities for economic, social and political participation of women, and by providing a digital space for communication, learning and e-commerce, through which women can access information, resources and opportunities faster and easier, and thus the level of communication presence of platform users Digital can be a critical factor in achieving women's empowerment.
